The Administration Department consists of all functions of the City Manager’s office. The City Manager, ap-
pointed by the City Council, is the chief administrative officer of the City of Hurst. The primary responsibilities
of the City Manager’s Office include providing for the effective implementation of the City Council’s policies and
priorities, coordinating the activities of all city departments, informing and engaging Hurst citizens, and ensuring
responsible organizational and fiscal management.
