ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT:
This department's budget increased from $289,235 to $298,405 or 3% for FY19/20. The
increase is due to annual funding for the Building Improvement Grant Program.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY:
The Information Technology budget increased from $311,295 to $408,005 or 31%. This
increase is due the replacement of the city-wide phone system (42,000), the server upgrade and
necessary software migration for the financial management system ($10,410), and the
replacement of the servers at Public Works and the Recreation Center ($9,000).
A transfer to the General Escrow Fund provides for future equipment replacement. A transfer is
also budgeted to the Capital Projects Fund for the anticipated cost increase of the Bailey Boswell
Overpass project.
