A privately funded grant program will provide funding opportunities for various enhancements along the Little Bear Creek
Corridor. Possibilities for enhancements include educational signage for native plants and animals and environmental features
along the corridor, cultivation of an extensive wildflower program with specific viewing areas and opportunities for bird blinds
and boardwalks in the Northfield Park natural area. If additional funding is granted in subsequent years, similar type
enhancement projects will be explored and implemented.

$50,000 was funded through private donations to PK1701 for various enhancements along the Little Bear Creek Corridor. The
project savings balance of $30,717 will be directed specifically to PK1801, The Green Valley Raceway Historical Area. PK1801
is an existing project whose funding is being increased to construct a historical plaza at the site of the old Green Valley
Raceway along the Little Bear Creek Corridor.
