$325,000 – Dog Park
Design and construction of the Mansfield Dog Park will begin in late 2019 in conjunction with the Man
House renovation in the West Broad corridor.

$250,000 – Rose Park Playground
Originally a pecan orchard, the land for Katherine Rose Memorial Park was purchased in 1992 by the
MPFDC with proceeds from a half-cent sales tax. The park was developed in part with grant funds from
Texas Parks and Wildlife and opened in 1996. In FY 2019-2020, $250,000 has been allocated to
resurface the existing playground and replace the playground equipment.
