Goals:
• Conduct a systematic review of all HR procedures, processes, and practices for the
purpose of total alignment with vision, mission, and values.
• Prioritize and complete HR duties and projects through committed staff time and
resources.
• Empower the HR team to make good decisions for customers using external and internal
resources.
• Commit to HR strategy implementation.
Objectives:
• Evaluate all benefits administration procedures for compliance, service to customers,
and efficiency.
0-3 Short Term
• Make any necessary improvements to benefits administration.
3-10 Intermediate Term
• Coordinate the education and usage of the City of Hurst recruitment plan.

• Collaborate with Fiscal Services to support ongoing process improvement and growth
initiatives.

• Continue to cross-train HR functions to ensure smooth and timely delivery of services,
specifically leaves of absence administration, worker’s compensation, and employee
