CITY OF BENBROOK 2019-20 ANNUAL BUDGET



               will purchase one ambulance which is funded with Asset Replacement funds and one Lucas Chest Compression Unit funded by the General
               Fund.

               The Street Maintenance budget includes funds for the replacement of Traffic Signal Radar Sensors that are failing. Funds are also included
               for phase two of the street sign replacement program.

               The Parks Department will be purchasing one Top Dresser for the maintenance of athletic fields and a Stump Grinder for the removal of dead
               tree stumps; all funded by the General Fund.  Also, seven ballfield dugouts will be rebuilt and expanded in 2019-20, which will be fund by
               the Parks Fund.

                                                         UPDATE AND UPGRADE OF EQUIPMENT

               Funds are included in the 2019-20 Budget for software and for replacement and/or upgrade of computers, printers, peripherals, and other
               hardware based on this schedule.  Funds are also included in the Information Technology Activity for the replacement and upgrade of the
               City’s IT Infrastructure.

               The 2019-20 Budget reflected the establishment of a Wall Repair Fund. $250,000 will be set aside from General Fund reserves to finance
               the building and repair of various walls surrounding subdivisions in the City.

                                  CHANGES IN PERSONNEL, NEW SERVICES, PROGRAMS, AND SPECIAL PROJECTS


               Changes in Personnel

               The 2019-20 Budget includes the addition of one full-time position and the elimination of one part-time position.

               In the 2019-20 Budget the Police Chief requested adding one full-time Police Officer position to keep pace with the growth of the City.  One
               part-time GIS position will be eliminated with the outsourcing of the City’s GIS.

               New Services

               No new services or programs are included in the 2019-20 Budget.

               Special Projects

               The 2019-20 Budget includes the continuation and expansion of the City’s street overlay program and the rebuilding of Benbrook streets by
               transferring $100,000 from the Road Damage Fund.  This special revenue fund was established to repair City streets damaged from the
