Summary:
The Arlington Urban Design Center, a partnership AUDC Projects Completed
between the University of Texas at Arlington and the 14
City of Arlington, opened in June 2009. The Design

Center provides conceptual renderings to businesses
and neighborhoods in Arlington free of charge. Since 10
2009, the Design Center has completed over 300 8
projects and has employed over 45 interns. A new AUDC 6
contract with the University of Texas at Arlington will be 4
negotiated to start in FY 2020. OSI anticipates 2
completing at least 8 projects per quarter.

The AUDC is staffed with 3 interns and continues to Target Actual
work on multiple different types of projects at all times.
A draft of a new three‐year contract with UTA is
currently under review by UTA. A new three‐year
contract with UTA was approved by City Council on
September 10, 2019 and took effect on October 1, 2019.
