Fire Department

 Continue to answer emergency calls across the city within six minutes or less
 Obtain Hazardous Materials Technician certification for three personnel

 Obtain Driver/Operator certification for three personnel

 Conduct Citizen Fire Academy #5 and begin the process of forming the Richland Hills

Citizen Fire Academy Alumni Association

 Complete a significant interior renovation in the fire station bays and living quarters.

 Continue all current training programs and integrate additional training opportunities
into our department

 Continue current monthly meetings with all skilled nursing facilities

 Inspect every business in the city for fire code compliance

 Inspect and flow test every fire hydrant in the city

 Inspect and test all fire hose, ladders, and fire pumps
 Continue involvement in the Northeast Fire Department Association or NEFDA

 Replace the Utility Pickup with a new ½ ton Pickup

 Complete all employee evaluations on time

 Continue Officer Development training for Captains

 Offer a seminar on Firefighter Pride and Ownership
 Attend the Texas Fire Chief’s Conference to stay abreast of changes in the fire service

 Send all EMS Field Training Officers to the Texas EMS Conference
