• Vegetation control in channels.
• Respond to emergency complaints within thirty minutes and resolve within
seventy-two hours.

Goals:

• Identify drainage issues for Engineering Division.
• Maintain the drainage systems in a condition for efficient and safe passage of
storm water.
• Control vegetation in channels by mowing or through chemical application.
• Maintain Surface Drainage Program which includes curb and gutter, driveways,
sidewalks and valley gutters.

Objectives:

• Street sweeping. ‡
• Manage the surface drainage program.
• Vegetation control. †
• Inspections and repairs of channels and bridges. *
• Inlet inspections and decals. ‡
• Implementation of the integrated storm water management (iSWM) plan. ‡
• Maintain the drainage system and clear obstructions before and after rain
