Convention & Visitors Bureau
The Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) promotes tourism, conventions, and special events that generate
visitor spending and support local businesses. The CVB is responsible for marketing the city as a
destination for leisure travel, meetings, conferences, and group events, while assisting event organizers
and visitors with planning and logistics. Core responsibilities include destination branding; advertising,
public relations, and digital marketing; sales and outreach to attract conferences, tournaments, and
special events; coordination with hotels and hospitality partners; and promotion of city facilities and
attractions. Through these efforts, the CVB increases hotel occupancy, drives economic activity, and
enhances the city’s visibility and reputation as a vibrant destination.
