Sanitation Services Budget Snapshot
The Sanitation Services budget for FY 2025-2026 totals $4,936,175, a 9.79% increase over the prior year.
This growth is driven by higher operational costs associated with contracted waste collection, landfill,
and disposal fees, as well as an increase in the number of commercial and residential accounts. The
increase ensures continued quality and reliability in solid waste management and supports
environmental sustainability efforts through waste diversion and recycling programs.
Sanitation services are contracted; no personnel are assigned to this division. There is a revenue offset for
this contract in the General Fund.
