Adopted Budget Cover Page
As required by section 102.005 (b) of the Texas Local Government Code,
the City of Dalworthington Gardens is providing the following statement
on this cover page of its adopted budget:
THIS BUDGET WILL RAISE MORE TOTAL PROPERTY TAXES THAN LAST
YEAR’S BUDGET BY $183,349, WHICH IS A 7.33% INCREASE, AND OF
THAT AMOUNT, $14,759 IS TAX REVENUE TO BE RAISED FROM NEW
PROPERTY ADDED TO THE TAX ROLL THIS YEAR.
The amounts above are based on the City’s adopted fiscal year 2025-2026
tax rate of $0.625342 per $100 of assessed valuation. The City’s fiscal
year 2024-2025 tax rate (the current tax rate) is $0.616040 per $100 of
assessed valuation.
Vote on the Budget and Tax Rate was held on September 18, 2025 at 7:00
p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 2600 Roosevelt Drive,
Dalworthington Gardens, Texas 76016.
