b. Purpose: These funds include the Voluntary Park Fund, Sesquicentennial Fund, Special Donations Fund,
Voluntary Library Fund, Grant Fund, Tree Preser vation Fund, Library Building Donation Fund, Recreation Event
Fund, Leose Fund, Cour t Technology Fee Fund, Building Security Fee Fund, Public Ar t Fund, Juvenile Case
Manager Fund, and the Deployment Fund. Each of these funds is restricted to speci{c uses based on their
funding source, which may include donations, state -imposed fees, or other contributions from residents or
developers. They are utilized for supplemental purchases that suppor t the City ’s operations, in line with the
intent of their original contributions.
. Capital Projec t Funds (Minor Funds)
a. Fund Type: Governmental and Proprietary Funds (Capital Project Funds)
b. Purpose: The Capital Project Funds are used to {nance large -scale infrastructure and improvement projects.
These include the General Capital Projects Fund, Utility Capital Fund, Drainage Capital Fund, and speci{c
dedicated funds like the Parkland Dedication Fund, Tomorrow Fund and Parks Tomorrow Fund. The funds are
typically cash-funded through transfers from operating funds, grants, or dedicated capital fees, with no
dedicated revenue source for most of the funds.
