FY 2024-2025 Highlights
                 Received the 2024 Excellence in Libraries Award from the Texas Municipal Library Directors Association.
                 88% of Library Satisfaction Survey respondents gave the Library an "A".
                 Transformed the Technology Center into a Learning Center with a $28,000 donation from the Bedford Library
                 Foundation.
                 Sold over $35,000 in pumpkins bene ting the Friends and Navajo/Zuni Indian tribes.
                 Twenty-three people reported getting a job/a better job on the Library Satisfaction Survey.

            Economic Vitality
                 Be a destination for families in Bedford and North Texas.
                     Issue an average of 175 library cards per month.
                     Host an average of 15 educational programs per month for all ages.
                     Host an average of 20 programs and events per month for all ages.
                     Plan two large-scale signature events per year.
                     Partner with the Bedford Library Friends Pumpkin Patch.
                 Connect jobseekers with free resources and workforce development opportunities to help them gain employment or get
                 a better job.
                     Track the number of patrons who cite the library as the reason they got a job or a better job on the annual library
                     satisfaction survey.
            Transformation
                 Develop alternative funding sources through grants, sponsorships, naming rights, donations, and resource-sharing
                 opportunities to support library needs.
                     Apply for grants to enhance library resources for the community.
                     Partner with the Foundation and Friends on 3 - 5 fundraisers per year.
                     Collaborate with Euless, Hurst, and the HEB ISD on HEB Reads! Kick-off Event.
            Organizational Excellence
                 Fuel Bedford's passion for reading, listening, and viewing by evaluating, selecting, and weeding collections.
                     Add a minimum of 8,000 materials per year to the collection.
                     Digital materials will account for 15% of overall circulation.
                 Evaluate user satisfaction with Library technology to improve services.
            Communicate & Engage with Citizens
                 Conduct an annual library satisfaction survey.
                     Maintain a 95% customer satisfaction rating in the following survey categories: friendliness, ability to quickly assist a
                     customer, and knowledge.
                     90% of Bedford citizens rate the Library as "excellent" or "good".
                     Increase number of Facebook followers to 10,000.
                     Promote Library services and offer activities at an average 30 outreach events annually.
                     At least 50% of Library cardholders are Bedford residents.
