RESOLUTION NO. 4838

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KELLER, TEXAS,
RATIFYING THE TAX REVENUE FOR THE TAX YEAR 2024 (FISCAL YEAR 2024-25)
FOR THE CITY OF KELLER, TEXAS.

WHEREAS, Section 102.007 of the Local Government Code, Subsection ( c),
requires a vote of the governing body to ratify the property revenue tax
increase reflected in the adopted budget; and

WHEREAS, proper notice of a public meeting on the proposed budget was provided
in accordance with Article VIII, City Charter of the City of Keller, Texas,
and said public meeting was held on September 17, 2024; and

WHEREAS, the proposed rate is lower than both the no new revenue rate and voter-
approval rate so a public hearing on the adoption of a tax rate is not
required; and

WHEREAS, a vote on the proposed tax rate is to be held on September 17, 2024
and notice of the vote was not required in accordance with Chapter 26
of the Tax Code.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KELLER, TEXAS:

Section 1: THAT, the above findings are hereby found to be true and correct and
are incorporated herein in their entirety.

Section 3: THAT, the City Council of the City of Keller, hereby ratifies the 2024
Fiscal Year 2024-25) property tax revenue as reflected in the adopted
budget for Fiscal Year 2024-25 for the City of Keller, Texas, as follows:

General Fund (Maintenance & Operations) $ 20,367,977

Debt Service Fund $ 3,605,130
TIRZ Fund $ 195,683

Total $ 24,168,790

Section 3: THAT, the City Council of the City of Keller, hereby ratifies the total
property tax revenue increase of $106,346 as reflected in the adopted
budget for Fiscal Year 2024-25 for the City of Keller, Texas.

Section 4: THAT, the City Council of the City of Keller, hereby ratifies the property
tax revenue increase of $243,653 to be raised from new property added
to the tax roll for 2024 (Fiscal Year 2024-25) for the City of Keller, Texas.
