ORDINANCE NO. 2025-3441

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEDFORD, TEXAS,
AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE ADOPTED ANNUAL BUDGET FOR
THE FISCAL PERIOD OF OCTOBER 1, 2024 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30,
2025.

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2024- setting forth the Budget
for Fiscal Year 2025, beginning October 1, 2024, and ending September 30, 2025; and,

WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that revenues and/or reserves are
available for supplemental appropriation, and/ that the transfer of certain funds
or
interdepartmentally is economically feasible and in the best interest of prudent budgeting and for
municipal purposes; and,

WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend said Fiscal Year 2024- Annual
Operating Budget to reflect such supplemental appropriation or transfer as described in the
and/
documents attached hereto.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BEDFORD, TEXAS, THAT:

SECTION 1.

The findings above are found to be true and correct and are incorporated herein in their
entirety.

SECTION 2.
The Annual Budget for the City of Bedford, Texas, for the fiscal period of October• 2024

through September 30, 2025 in words and figures contained . therein, is hereby amended for
municipal purposes as shown on " Budget Amendment # 2," attached hereto.

SECTION 3.

Budget Amendment # 2 shall be attached to the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Annual Operating
Budget and maintained in the records of the City.

PRESENTED AND PASSED this 27th day of May 2025, by a vote of 6 ayes, 0 nay and 0
abstentions, at a regular meeting of the City Council of Bedford, Texas.
