Summary:
Adopted Spots
The Adopt-a-Spot Program is a community initiative aimed 10
at enhancing the cleanliness and appearance of public
spaces. Participants can adopt areas like parks or streets 8
and are responsible for their upkeep through regular litter

cleanups and beautification projects. There are three ways
to engage: 4

1. Volunteer Clean-Ups: Individuals or groups
commit to monthly clean-ups from October to -
April for two years. 1st Qtr 2nd Qtr 3rd Qtr 4th Qtr
2. Sponsorship: For high-traffic areas, participants

Update:

As we wrap up the 4 Quarter of 2024, the Adopt-a-Spot -
program remains active and continues to see success. The 1st Qtr 2nd Qtr 3rd Qtr 4th Qtr
two participating partners scheduled four cleanup
opportunities for their teams. Volunteers completed two Participants
events, contributing a total of 8 hours and collecting five
bags of trash, while two other scheduled events were Clean Up Events
canceled. 10

This quarter also marks the launch of the Adopt-a-Median 8

program. With more than 180 medians available for

adoption, businesses can now make a visible impact on 5
the city’s roadways. The new flyer and sign were designed 4
and ready for distribution. The program will transfer to 3

Asset Management under the new Clean Team Division. 1
