Continued collaboration with Hawes Hill & Associates to develop a new comprehensive plan for the City
Processed the following amendments to the Ordinance and/or Subdivision Regulations:
Classi cation of new and unlisted uses such as retail sales of cowhide products
Tree Preservation Ordinance - Full rewrite
Subdivision Ordinance – Updated setback lines, common lots/HOA required, sidewalks, design standards,
cross access, water connectivity, drainage and detention ponds, land disturbance activities
Public Services Development Policies – Updated traf c impact analysis
Sign Ordinance – Updated noncommercial messages and sign types
Processed the following Preliminary/Final Plats:
3705/3709 Harwood Road (Oakwood Hills, consisting of 53 residential lots and 2 open spaces)
800 Glenda Drive (replat to two lots B-1R1 and B-1R2)
3301 Murphy Drive (replat-Murphy Drive TRA Pump Station)
2505 Murphy Drive (Nicole Court Addition, consisting of 12 lots with one lot being a private drainage)
Processed six (6) speci c use permit (SUP) requests, three (3) planned unit development (PUD) requests, and one (1)
site plan request
Neighborhood Ser vices
Completed re-organization of Neighborhood Services/Code Of cers’ responsibilities, incorporating multi-family
inspections and short and long-term rental program administration.
Processed 3,058 code cases.
Implemented the recently adopted Short-Term Rental Ordinance that establishes standards and processes for the
regulation of short-term rental properties, commencing the registration and inspection of the approximately 40
homes being utilized as short- term rentals (< 30 days).
Initiated limited implementation of the recently adopted Long-Term Rental Ordinance that establishes an of cial
policy for registering, inspecting, and monitoring long-term rentals (> 30 days)
