Fines are revenues received by the City primarily from Municipal Court for Class C misdemeanor violations. Also included in this
category are nes collected by the library for overdue books. The City maintains several special revenue funds whose revenue
comes from nes as a cost of the court and have a restricted purpose based on state legislation. Fine revenue has been slightly
increased in the upcoming budget based on the collection trends.
