OVERVIEW

Library General Services is responsible for implementing policies and procedures

established under the leadership of the City Council, Library Board and City Administration.
The Library Director administers budget expenditures, supervises and evaluates operational

divisions, provides professional guidance to staff, maintains a positive public image and
establishes policy. Responsibilities include planning, directing, coordinating and evaluating

all Library areas of responsibility.
