Design for Animal Control Facility - $500,000
Identified as one of the major facility needs, City Council approved the design of a new Animal Control
facility.
Design for Service Center Expansion - $500,000
Another major facility need identified during the budget process; City Council approved funding for the
design of an expansion to the current Chris W. Burkett Service Center located at 620 S. Wisteria Street.
Expansion would allow the City to co-locate and consolidate some of its departments, including the
relocation of Park Operations, and possibly Animal Control.
