Revenues by Source
The vast majority of the Drainage Fee Fund is paid for through monthly drainage utility fees levied on each commercial and
residential utility billing account in the City. This fee was initially approved at $4.00 per month, per account in 1993, but was
subsequently raised to $7.00 per month, per account on October 1, 2005. The fee has remained unchanged since that time.
With Colleyville being close to build-out, the number of accounts are not expected to increase dramatically in the future.
Instead, the City will need to undergo periodic rate studies to ensure all operations and necessary improvements can be
adequately funded.
