ORDINANCE NO. 2021- 040

AN ORDINANCE BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WATAUGA, TEXAS
APPROVING THE FISCAL YEAR 2021- 2022 ANNUAL SERVICE PLAN UPDATE
AND 2021 ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE PARK VISTA PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT OF THE CITY OF WATAUGA, TEXAS; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE

WHEREAS, the City Council finds the City Council of the City of Watauga, Texas adopted
Resolution No. 98- 12- 14- 3 which authorized the establishment of the Park Vista Public Improvement
District ( the " District") as provided by Chapter 372 of the Local Government Code on December 14,
1998; and

WHEREAS, the City Council finds the City Council adopted Resolution No. 99- 1- 19- 3 on January
19, 1999, adopting the original service plan and budget for the District; and

WHEREAS, the City Council finds the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 1035 on September
25, 2000, levying assessments for use and support of the Park Vista Public Improvement District; and

WHEREAS, the City Council finds that after the creation of the District and the adoption of the
original service plan and the assessment levy, the City Council regularly reviewed the service plan for the
purpose of determining the annual budget for improvements and for determining the annual assessment
roll for the District in accordance with Chapter 372 of the Local Government Code; and

WHEREAS, the City Council finds, after each such review, the City Council regularly approved
the annual service plan update, the annual budget and the annual assessment for the District, in accordance
with Chapter 372 of the Local Government Code; and

WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the City Council has reviewed the proposed Fiscal Year
2021- 2022 annual service plan and budget and the proposed 2021 assessment roll; and

WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to approve the Fiscal Year 2021- 2022 annual service
plan update and budget and the 2021 assessment roll, in accordance with Chapter 372 of the Local
Government Code; and

WHEREAS, the City Council finds the passage of this Ordinance is required by Chapter 372 of
the Local Government Code and is in the best interest of the residents of the City of Watauga.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council ofthe City of Watauga, Texas, as follows:

The facts and recitations set forth in the preamble of this Ordinance are hereby found to be true
and correct and adopted herein for all purposes.
