Project Description
The project consists of the design and reconstruction of approximately 1,200 linear feet of Wood View Drive from Dick Lewis Drive to
Meadow Park Drive North. The improvements include reconstructing the existing roadway with new full-depth subgrade, limited curb
and gutter replacement, and new asphalt pavement. The road will be reconstructed within the existing right-of-way in its current
configuration; this is not a roadway expansion.

Project Justification
A 2020 Capital Program Advisory Committee evalutated the city's infrastructure needs and due to poor road conditions,
recommended that Wood View Drive be reconstructed. The committee considered several factors when recommending street
projects including existing pavement conditions, traffic volumes, maintenance records, and estimated project costs. Wood View
Drive is a local or residential street in the City's roadway network. The current pavement condition rating is 14.7 on a scale of 1-100,
and has deteriorated to the point that full reconstruction is warranted.

The 2020 Capital Programs Advisory Committee (CPAC) ranked this project as a high priority. An election was held in November
2020 to issue General Obligation bonds for street projects, and voters approved issuing the bonds for these projects.
