Pleasant Run Road Bridge at Big Bear (White Chapel Bridge) ‐ Construction
Program Description Strategic Plan Connection
This project will include replacement of the bridge along 3.3 Mitigate stormwater runoff and flooding risks
Pleasant Run crossing Big Bear Creek. This project is being
coordinated by the City of Southlake, and is being funded by
the Federal Bridge Replacement Program (80%), State (10%),
with the remaining portion being local (10%).

Pleasant Run Road Rehabilitation (John McCain to N City Limit)
Program Description Strategic Plan Connection
The project includes the reconstruction of Pleasant Run Road 3.1 Upgrade the condition of major roads and
from John McCain Road to the North City Limit. This project neighborhood streets
will include underground storm system, sidewalk, and ribbon
curbs. The road work will be complete once the waterline is
replaced.

SH26 Beautification FY2021
Program Description Strategic Plan Connection
This project is for the continuation of the median and right‐of‐ 3.4 Thoroughly plan for future capital investments and
way beautification along the SH26 corridor including the associated costs
gateway components of the design.
