PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Public Safety Training fund is comprised of monies received from the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts in accordance with
Occupations Code, Chapter 1701. These funds are available for use to enhance personnel development and departmental efficiencies
through education and training of full-time peace officers, and for full-time departmental civilian personnel as authorized by the Chief of
Police.
