DEPARTMENT UTILITY FUND ACCOUNT

PURPOSE STATEMENT:
To accumulate costs that are not allocated to individual departments and to account for solid waste fees
collected by the city of a third party contractor.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:
Prudently manage City risks
KEY POINTS OF PROPOSED BUDGET:
Personnel Services: Increase to cover step increases and associated costs. For ease of accounting and
presentation, the total increase necessary to cover a step increase across the Utility Fund has been
included in this department.
Contractual Services: Increase for additional costs associated with liability insurance and the garbage
collection fee paid the City's solid waste collection provider.
