PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Animal Control provides efficient, courteous and prompt response to requests from citizens for all animal control
services and pro-actively educates citizens while reducing the number of stray animals.
GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:
To expand Animal Control services to include Thursday evening adoption hours
To Increase by 5% the number of animals returned to owners
To Decrease The Number of Animals Euthanized by 5%
To increase adoption opportunities by expanding our social media postings to different platforms such as
Instagram and TikTok
KEY POINTS OF PROPOSED BUDGET:
Personnel Services: Increase due to impact of FY 2019-20 step increases and increased benefit costs.
Contractual Services: Increase for veterinary services.
