Continue to improve traffic flow, street The Public Works Division and Community
improvements and facility improvements. Services Division will design and construct

Barrett, Heritage Pkwy and Day Mair Rd. The
Community Services Division will design and
construct several phases of the Walnut Creek
Linear trail, Library improvements, mobile
library system and land acquisition for future
parks and trails.

Continue to maintain the “Best Parks System.” The Public Grounds Department and the
MPFDC will expand maintenance of existing
parks and public grounds. New improvements
including Fieldhouse USA and the Dallas Stars
Center will provide additional recreational
opportunities for all citizens. Additions include
the Wayfinding sign project, Dog Park,
Historical Museum and renovation of the Man
House property.

Continue to maintain a “Superior” Water & The Utility Division will continue to expand
Sewer System. the use of the latest technology to provide
service delivery to all areas of the City. The
Utilities Division will continue to expand the
conservation programs, reduce costs utilizing
the latest technology and monitor flow patterns
throughout the City.

Continue to revitalize downtown. The Public Works Division and Community
Services Division will complete improvements
to South Main Street and add a downtown
restroom.
Continue to develop the Arts Program and The Mansfield Commission for the Arts will
provide additional venues in the downtown continue to find ways to utilize the downtown
area and other locations throughout the City. avenues including the Farr Best Theatre and
Main Street festivals.
