CITY OF BENBROOK 2019-20 ANNUAL BUDGET
SECTION VI

Any and all ordinances and resolutions, rules, regulations, policies or provisions in conflict with the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby
repealed and rescinded to the extent of conflict therewith.

SECTION VII

It is hereby declared to be the intention of the City Council that the phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs and sections of this ordinance
are severable, and if any phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph or section of this ordinance shall be declared unconstitutional by the valid
judgment or decree of any court of competent jurisdiction, such unconstitutionality shall not affect any of the remaining phrases, clauses,
sentences, paragraphs and sections of this ordinance, since the same would have been enacted by the City without the incorporation in
this ordinance of any such unconstitutional phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph or section.

SECTION VIII

The necessity of adopting and approving a proposed Budget for the next fiscal year as required by the laws of the State of Texas
requires that this Ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage, and it is accordingly so ordained.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Benbrook, Tarrant County, Texas, on this 19 day of September

2019, at a meeting open to the public after notice thereof being given as required by law.
