equipment and supplies.  Funds are included to procure a Project Accounting module for the City’s accounting software
               to assist all departments in tracking and managing project costs.

               VEHICLE REPLACEMENTS AND PURCHASES

               The 2018-19 Budget includes funds to replace five patrol vehicles for the Benbrook Police Department.  The Police
               Department received approval to purchase five special-equipped, police package sport utility vehicles.  Funds are also
               included for five light bars.

               Funds in the amount of $500,000 are included in the Capital Asset Replacement Account of the Capital Projects Fund
               to procure a tack trailer and jack hammer for the Street Department’s bobcat and to replenish the fund for future
               purchases.

               Funds are also included to replace the City’s street sweeper with funding through the Storm Water Utility Fund.

               CONSOLIDATION OF SERVICES

               Benbrook Fire Department

               Three additional Fire Fighter/EMT positions are included in the 2018-19 Budget with a hiring date deferred until January
               1, 2019.

               The Benbrook Fire Department has expanded its mutual-aid agreements with other local fire departments.  Tarrant
               County has increased its payments to Benbrook for fire and emergency services provided to other local communities.
               The City of Benbrook renewed the contractual arrangement with Tarrant County effective October 1, 2018. Under the
               terms of the contract, the County: (1) compensates Benbrook a base compensation rate in excess of $110,000 per fiscal
               year, (2) provides a super tanker, (3) provides a brush truck, (4) provides thermal imaging cameras, (5) provides funds
               for the replacement and purchase of fire and rescue equipment, and (6) compensates for emergency medical services
               (based  on  points)  in  excess  of  $155,000  per  fiscal  year;  the  City  of  Benbrook  bills  Tarrant  County  residents  for
               emergency medical services at non-resident rates.

               Interlocal Agreements between City of Benbrook and Benbrook Water Authority (BWA)

               Through an Interlocal Agreement (ILA), the City of Benbrook contracts with the Benbrook Water Authority (BWA) to
