Benbrook students also have the opportunity to attend other high schools in the FWISD to participate in Advanced
Academic Programs offering specialized courses in science and engineering, law and government, finance and
communications, and medical and health sciences.
Vocational/technical training is available to Benbrook students through the Fort Worth ISD and Tarrant County College.
The following colleges and universities are within easy commuting distance: Tarrant County College, University of
Texas at Arlington, Texas Christian University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Texas Wesleyan
University, University of North Texas Health Science Center, and Tarleton State University’s Southwest Metroplex
campus.
