shall be declared unconstitutional by the valid judgment or decree of any court of competent jurisdiction, such
unconstitutionality shall not affect any of the remaining phrases, clauses, sentences, paragraphs and sections of this
ordinance, since the same would have been enacted by the City without the incorporation in this ordinance of any such
unconstitutional phrase, clause, sentence, paragraph or section.

SECTION VIII
The necessity of adopting and approving a proposed Budget for the next fiscal year as required by the laws of the State
of Texas requires that this Ordinance shall take effect immediately from and after its passage, and it is accordingly so
ordained.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Benbrook, Tarrant County, Texas, on this 20th
day of September, 2018, at a meeting open to the public after notice thereof being given as required by law.
