ACTIVITY DESCRIPTION
The School Crossing Guards assist children in safely crossing City streets at various locations while traveling to and from
school.

Effective October 1, 2018, School Crossing Guards will be provided by a private company on a contractual basis.

ACTIVITY GOALS

-To provide assistance to Benbrook children in crossing streets so that street crossings may take place in a safe and
injury-free manner while going to and from school.

ACTIVITY OBJECTIVES

-To monitor expenditures and remain within + or - 5% of the Activity's budget allocation.
-To assist children in crossing the street going to and from school.
-To have no injuries to children at school crossings.
