Layne Cline, Director of Public Works

               Administration
The Public Works Administration Division provides overall leadership, strategic planning, budget oversight,
personnel management, records administration, and public communication for the department.

               Streets and Traffic
The Street Division is responsible for the maintenance of the City's street infrastructure, curb and gutter,
sidewalks, and driveway approaches. The Street Division oversees preventive maintenance and repair of
curbs, gutters, sidewalks and ramps, lane and intersection marking, and street and traffic signs throughout the
               city.

Traffic Division oversees the maintenance and repair of signal heads and controllers, pedestrian push buttons
for crosswalks, school zone lights, and related battery backup systems, along with the overall function of the
               city's traffic signal devices.

               Water and Wastewater
The Water Division provides safe, reliable drinking water through the operation and maintenance of the City's
water distribution system, water production facilities, and water quality monitoring programs. This is
accomplished through the maintenance, repair and replacement of water lines, meters, fire hydrants and
valves, maintenance and operation of two wells, and the chemical feed systems used to treat the water they
               produce.

The Wastewater Division protects public health and the environment by operating and maintaining the City's
sanitary sewer collection system to ensure the safe conveyance of wastewater and reduce system infiltration
and overflows. This is accomplished by the repair, replacement, maintenance, video inspection and cleaning of
the City sewer mains and services.

               Stormwater
The Stormwater Division is responsible for providing adequate collection and transportation of stormwater with
the least amount of damage to real or personal property. This is accomplished by maintaining the drainage
channels and the stormwater collection system through mowing, debris removal, erosion control, repair and
maintenance of the public storm drain system.

               Fleet
The Fleet Services Division maintains and manages the City's fleet of vehicles and equipment through
preventive maintenance, repairs, and lifecycle management, ensuring safe, reliable, and cost-effective
operations that support all City departments. By maintaining a well-managed fleet, the division helps City
departments deliver essential services to the community while reducing costs, improving safety, and
               maximizing operational efficiency.
