General Government - City Secretary
The City Secretary’s Office serves as the official records custodian and legislative support arm for the City
of Mansfield, ensuring the accurate preservation, certification, and accessibility of all municipal
documents and actions. The City Secretary’s Office coordinates and administers City Council agendas,
minutes, and meeting notices in accordance with legal requirements, while also managing public
transparency functions, such as compliance with open meetings laws. The City Secretary also oversees
municipal elections, administers oaths of office, and supports the appointment and tracking of boards
and commissions. Through these responsibilities, the office provides essential organizational continuity,
legal compliance, and public accountability for the City.
