STRATEGIC PLANNING
As our staff implements the FY26 budget, each department will work towards a common vision to, “Maintain Grapevine as a safe, livable, vibrant
community and world-class tourist destination”. Additionally, six focus areas further unify the organization and serve as the basis of departmental goals,
objectives, and performance measures. The City of Grapevine focus areas include:
Safety and Security
High Service Levels/Quality of Life
Financial Stability
Transportation
Tourism
Infrastructure
As part of the budget process, each department establishes or updates a set of cascading goals, objectives/strategies, and performance measures which
are updated on an annual basis. This information is then presented on each department’s summary page and their associated division summary pages.
The chart below depicts how each measure is linked to a division objective/strategy, department goal, and citywide focus area.
