Park Venue
Introduction
The Park Venue Fund provides funding for 56 parks, 5,083 acres of park land, and various recreational services throughout the city,
including popular venues such as The Summit, Ruthe Jackson Center, Tony Shotwell Life Center, Dalworth Recreation Center, and
Charley Taylor Recreation Center. It is supported by the 1/4 cent sales tax that is approved in perpetuity, General Fund transfer, and
user fees.
