ORDINANCE NO. 2025-3448

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEDFORD, TEXAS,
ADOPTING THE ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF BEDFORD, TEXAS,
FOR THE FISCAL PERIOD OF OCTOBER 1, 2025 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30,
2026; PROVIDING FOR INTRA-FUND AND/OR INTRA-DEPARTMENTAL
TRANSFERS; PROVIDING FOR INVESTMENT OF IDLE FUNDS; AND
DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, a notice of public hearing on the Annual Budget for the City of Bedford, Texas,
for the fiscal period of October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2026, was heretofore published in
a newspaper of general circulation; and,

WHEREAS, said public hearing on said Budget was duly held and all interested persons
were given the opportunity to be heard for or against any item therein.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BEDFORD, TEXAS, THAT:

SECTION 1.

The facts and recitations contained in the preamble of this Ordinance are hereby found
and declared to be true and correct.

SECTION 2.

The Annual Budget for the City of Bedford, Texas, for the fiscal period of October 1, 2025
through September 30, 2026 in words and figures contained therein, is hereby adopted and
approved. A copy of said budget shall be maintained in the records of the City. A summary of
revenues and expenditures by funds is attached hereto as Exhibit A.

PRESENTED AND PASSED this 9th day of September 2025, by a vote of 7 ayes, 0 nay and
0 abstentions, at a regular meeting of the City Council of Bedford, Texas.
