Fund Balance

This is a special revenue fund that has a restricted use per State guidelines. Texas House Bill (H.B.) No. 1950, which became
effective May 29, 2025, created the consolidated Municipal Court Building Security and Technology Fund. The $4.90 fee for
court building security has been deposited into the new consolidated fund since its creation. The remaining balance in the
Court Security Fund was used for a one-time project during FY 2024-2025.
