Adopted Operating Budget

for Fiscal Year 2024-2025

Section 102.005, of the Local Government Code,

requires the following notice be published with the
City’s Proposed Budget*:

This budget will raise more total property taxes than

last year's budget by $1,296,427 (a 5.62% increase), and

of that amount $22,873 is tax revenue to be raised from
new property added to the tax roll this year.

*Certified Tax Rolls that are necessary for official tax rate calculation are not yet available

**Proposed budget has been updated as of 8/2/2024 following City Council budget workshop held
on 7/31/2024 and after evaluation of the certified tax roll with consideration of a proposed tax
rate.
