Budget Hearing

Notice is hereby given that the Forest Hill City Council will

conduct a Public Hearing on the FY 2024-2025 proposed

budget for the City of Forest Hill, Texas, at 6:00 p.m. on

September 3, 2024, in the Council Chambers, 3219 California

Parkway, Forest Hill, Texas 76119.

This budget will raise more revenue from property taxes than

last year’s budget by an amount of $137,462, which is a 1.93

percent increase from last year’s budget. The property tax

revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll

this year is $80,053.

Members of the public are encouraged to review the

proposed budget information and attend the public hearing

to express their views.

The proposed budget is available for public inspection at City

Hall, City Secretary’s Office, 3219 California Parkway, Forest

Hill, Texas 76119, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.,

and on the City’s website, www.foresthilltx.org.
