The Colleyville Police Department is dedicated to a community policing philosophy that emphasizes problem-solving and
building strong community partnerships. The department is committed to protecting and preserving neighborhoods,
enhancing the safety and security of residents and visitors, and working closely with the community to address and resolve
neighborhood issues.
The Police Department collaborates with residents to analyze neighborhood concerns, formulate speci c plans, and develop
strategies to address and eliminate problems. Both department staff and community members are encouraged and
empowered to take responsibility for actions that contribute to the safety and well-being of the city. Collaboration is fostered
through training, helping all involved to recognize shared interests, trends, and opportunities.
The department values open communication and works to maintain transparency with both its staff and the community
through various methods and technologies. This commitment to frequent and clear communication contributes to low
crime rates and a high level of trust between the Police Department and the community.
