ORDINANCE NO. 2023- 3379

AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING THE ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF BEDFORD, TEXAS, FOR THE
FISCAL PERIOD OF OCTOBER 1, 2023 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2024; PROVIDING FOR INTRA-
FUND AND/ OR INTRA- DEPARTMENTAL TRANSFERS; PROVIDING FOR INVESTMENT OF IDLE
FUNDS; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

WHEREAS, a notice of public hearing on the Annual Budget for the City of Bedford, Texas, for the
fiscal period of October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024, was heretofore published in a
newspaper of general circulation; and,
WHEREAS, said public hearing on said Budget was duly held and all interested persons were given
the opportunity to be heard for or against any item therein.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BEDFORD, TEXAS:

SECTION 1. That the findings above are found to be true and correct, and are incorporated
herein.

SECTION 2. That the Annual Budget for the City of Bedford, Texas, for the fiscal period of
October 1, 2023 through September 30, 2024 in words and figures contained therein,
is hereby adopted and approved. A copy of said budget shall be maintained in the
records of the City. A summary of revenues and expenditures by funds is attached
hereto as Exhibit A.

PRESENTED AND PASSED this 12th day of September 2023, by a vote of 7 ayes, 0 nays and 0
abstentions, at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Bedford, Texas.
