Water and Wastewater Master Plan.
Improve GIS datasets and utilize this information in VUEWorks to
proactively schedule maintenance for all assets to optimize utility
funds and extend the useful life of all components of the system.
Upgrade the SCADA system for monitoring the water storage tanks
and pump station.

Strengths An aggressive sewer line cleaning program, including the use of an
effective degreaser for “hot spots,” minimizes overflows and
blockages, thereby protecting properties from damage.
A methodical lift station maintenance program is in place to minimize
service interruptions.
The City provides additional insurance coverage for property damage
caused by sewer back-ups that would otherwise be the responsibility
of the property owner.
The Wastewater Master Plan was updated in FY 2014 and identifies
capital projects through 2034.
Standard construction specifications and details have been created to
ensure quality construction of City infrastructure.
Delivery of high quality customer service in a timely manner is an
absolute standard.
Emergency situations are addressed quickly.
