Municipal Court Expenses

Municipal court expenses include payroll and contract services for one full-time employee,
municipal judges, prosecutor, and Spanish translator. Payroll includes a 3% cost of living
adjustment, 12% TMRS rate, and $700/month city paid insurance benefit. This year’s expenses
were slightly increased to cover the cost of required software to hold virtual court dockets, and
the increased unfunded mandates in court security requirements.
