CONCLUSION
Your approved budget is a balanced budget that increases our reserves in an
uncertain world, so that we remain financially secure and adaptable. This budget
places a priority on our employees while remaining fiscally responsible to our
citizenry. This budget ensures that we are moving forward and working toward the
Council’s long-term strategic goals.
It is critical the FY 2020-2021 budget continues to provide for a sound financial plan,
reflects the priorities and policies of the City Council, and provides the citizens of
Haltom City with quality municipal services.
On behalf of the staff, I would like to thank the Mayor and City Council for providing
the leadership and direction in developing and approving this budget. I also extend
special thanks and appreciation to all the employees who worked extremely hard
to prepare this budget.
I look forward to successfully implementing the Approved Budget beginning October
1, 2020.
Together, we will continually create a community environment where families
flourish and businesses prosper.
