The Office’s webpage is an effective marketing tool for the IEDC Virtual Annual Conference Oct. 2020
City and will continue to be updated to reflect the
service/incentives provided by the City as well as highlighting
Arlington businesses making significant investments in the
economy.
E.D. Staff will track their outreach efforts via presentations
and partnership events with local organizations.
Update:
Staff attended the virtual International Economic
Development Council Annual Conference in October. The
conference was originally scheduled to be held in Dallas and
several workshops were focused on Dallas based projects.
Bruce Payne hosted a panel discussion on the Role of E‐sports
and Creative Media in Economic Development featuring Peter
Tokar of Unique McKinney and Geoff Moore of Envy Gaming.
The conference also focused on topics related to inclusivity in
Economic Development.
