OVERVIEW OF FACILITIES / CONSTRUCTION
MANAGEMENT FUND
The Facilities/Construction Management Fund is an internal service fund used for the documentation of
expenses for building maintenance on all city maintained facilities. Revenues in this fund are derived from
allocations charged to user departments in the City. Total expenses of $2,982,718 include operating expenses
of $2,829,132, other expenses of $22,762, a contribution and reserve of $130,824. This budget is in
accordance with the Multi-Year Building Services Plan approved by City Council in 1997. The plan was
updated for 2019/2020 and is included in the 2019/2020 Capital Projects Budget.
